Datsusara Covert Emissary Bag

Datsusara’s Covert Emissary bag, is one of my favorite and most used bags. I love its size, (holds both of my laptops plus notebooks) durability, extra pockets, comfortably, and design. I took it out for a product photo shoot on the Portland East Bank Esplanade.

Datsusara means:

“TO ESCAPE SUFFERING AND FIND ONE’S TRUE PATH”

To me, that means escaping the confines of the traditional four walled office to work in a different way which is more fulfilling. This is something I am striving to do every day.

In order to convey this idea for these product photos, I created a beautiful Portland work setting in this photo shoot:

“If you say that getting the money is the most important thing, you’ll spend your life completely wasting your time. You’ll be doing things you don’t like doing in order to go on living, that is to go on doing things you don’t like doing. Better to have a short life that is full of the things you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way.”

This was a fun impromptu photo shoot to try my hand at some lifestyle product photography. Would love to hear your thoughts!
